Technobox Part Number 6183

Dual CFast Adapter XMC Module
(RoHS Compliant Lead-free)

Technobox P/N 6183 Dual CFast Adapter XMC Card -- Lead Free -- RoHS Compliant

The Technobox 6183 is a Dual CFAST Adapter (XMC form factor) that accommodates two CFast cards (Type I or II) on a one lane PCI Express bus, using a Silicon Image SI3132 bridge chip. The bridge chip supports two SATA Gen2 interfaces at 3.0 GB/s. One CFAST device can be installed on board and a second  can be inserted into a connector on the front panel. The front panel site is hot plug capable. To prevent inadvertent removal of the front panel card, there is special retaining mechanism. The retainer incorporates a removal warning detection feature that is part of the 6183 hot swap feature. As the retainer is being unscrewed, the sensor signals the host to complete all write activity. Individual LEDs on the panel indicate status for each CFast device.
